| | accomplished | ] | I would be in a place where the weather changes constantly but the beauty is extravagant so you do not even care. There are mountains with faces staring out into the world. There are buffalo that roam along side the car. Below the mountains are vast prairie lands that they use as their paradise. My boyfriend and I can just sit outside and watch nature take its course as tourists indulge themselves in the life of this place. Theres a house that sits on its side but here and there, there are places that care completely level. I would love to take him there. There is a reptile garden not too far way. We can actually walk under all the snakes that hang from the trees. I would like to take him there also. It smells like pine and oak. You hear the noise of the wild animals communicating with each other. If you sit outside at night, you can see all of the stars and satellites in their orbits. I could make a great wish on a shooting star. I would want to be on the hotel balcony so I cold see absoultely everything. If I could be anywhere but here, I would be in Rapid City, SD. |

| Volume I: Autumnal Beauty |

| | exhausted | ] | I prefer autumn of all seasons. Many people prefer Summer because it's very warm and all the different things you can due in the summer. Summer is also associated with a great vacation from school. But summer doesn't own the same type of beauty that autumn owns.
In autumn, the leaves turn a beautiful gold color. Then orange. Then red. Then they fall and line the streets in their eternal slumber. Autumn is also when the children can bring out their heavier sweaters and jump in the piles that their mothers' have just raked up.
The smell of sweet potato pie comes from the kitchen window as the smell of ginger pumpkin candles seep from the bathrooms. There's laughter in the air and there's tenderness whispering in the wind.
Caramel apples dressed in peanuts sit neatly on the counter top while three giant pumpkins awaiting to be carved lie across the table. Looking out the great living room window, I see beauty. Seeing my family brought together for the autumn delights, I see beauty smiling back. |
